Lately, something has been bugging me. Whenever I share my software business ideas with friends, I often get the same response: "That’ll die soon. Customers will make it themselves." or, if I rephrase it, "Why would I buy it? I just vibe-code it."
It made me realize that I’ve heard something similar before. The infamous "Not Invented Here" syndrome. Are we entering a new era of dismissing products simply because people think they are too easy to build in-house with AI? Is the perceived ease of AI-generation making us blind to the value of a verified, functional product?
Is "Not vibe-coded here" the new "Not invented here"?

As the plane is headed down, it increases its speed. At a certain point, due to aerodynamic forces, pilots cannot stabilize the plane with the stabilizer trim wheel in the cockpit. The situation is unrecoverable.
This is explained here:

Transformer oil is there primary for cooling and secondary for corrosion resistance. When you see transformer burning, it's the oil inside. Larger transformers cycle oil through pipes visible outside.
In the Czech Republic (or at least in some parts) pole numbers and their positions are shared with emergency services. If you are disoriented, reading the number identifies your exact position. Works for railway crossings as well.
Update: typos

While cleaner, technically geothermal energy is not renewable. After couple of years the area is cooled down and efficiency drops. For example, one project planned in central Europe is expected to last only 15 years. Then re-drilling is necessary or leaving the drill to re-charge. Among other risks, contamination of underground water and earthquakes are commonly mentioned.

This myth is even in Python source code[1]

However, since the indirect jump instruction is shared

The response makes the situation even more absurd. Suddenly it is OK to denounce a professor because he/she is not correct from someones point of view? Isn't a debate about what is real and what is not the base for any science?
I would understand, but not be happy for, that professors are called for not being politically correct. I can't understand denouncing for not being correct by someone's argumentation.
I believe more and more that social justice and seeking for truth are not compatible.
Universities must choose between TRUTH or Social Justice, not both: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaQ-ZF9S3uk
