What content shouldn't children be accessing? Is the content a 7, 11 or 16 year old shouldn't access different between age brackets? Who makes that determination? Is this access restriction at the whole site level, or per-post? Does safe-harbor apply, or is a site-operator liable for age-inappropriate content it hosts for its clients? On S3, for example, is each object tagged with an age category, or would it have to be a totally separate S3, like GovCloud?

But a regular database can do that with PKI. Crypto isn't just a reliable ledger -- it's a reliable ledger between an arbitrary number of mutually distrusting parties. Which doesn't really describe banks in a regulated, functioning economy.

Diversity tends to work best when there's alignment to a common goal, and diversity is adding perspectives on how to get there. Consider creating a product that will be used by people from different cultures or backgrounds. But when there's significant difference of opinion about the directional goal, as is often the case with political/ideological differences, then that diversity can be adding friction rather than insight.
Republicans will never be good at leading the EPA, basically.

That article seems strange. The example shows the opposite phenomenon. The upper layers change temperature quickly (going from 22°C to 6°C over the course of ~500ft. The lower layers change slowly (going from 6°C to around 1°C over the next 6000ft.
The graph makes it look like top changes slowly, but that's because the axes are inverted: the independent variable (depth) is on the Y.

In Android, at least, it defaults the checkbox to allow contact and text message sharing. You have to uncheck it before hitting connect. It's not actually an allow/deny contact sharing button. It's an extra step if and only if you want to deny. Dark pattern.
