Doesn't seem that wild if youre doing large green field dev with frontier models.

Im spending about 2-3K a week on personal projects and 5K a week on corporate stuff.

Their competitors eat them. I would not be surprised to see Oracle's cloud business get absorbed by IBM or Microsoft. Maybe Amazon. The extra DC capacity is valuable to a couple companies right now.

Hahaha... regulation lol. That aint happening in the US. If you do see regulation it will be so crippled as to be meaningless but it'll give something politicians can talk about as "for the people". All regulations are written by industry insiders.

There might be some Aptiva EDO RAM sitting in my parents basement... Ill have to look next time im out there. Im not sure if I ripped it out and stored it before we sent the computer off to recycling eons ago.

1. Theres a near endless supply of assholes

2. If youre loud enough and an asshole enough you'll find other assholes.

3. Your new found group of assholes can then go off and terrorize other people while attracting more assholes.

AI and companies reward sociopathic behavior. When he eventually complains to his boss that his work isn't being merged and it's been done for days/weeks/months that will filter up and look bad on the people holding him up.
