<p>I don't mind. May even be better, since you get WiFi.<p>The hard part is the casing/keyboard/screen that replicates the original, but offers modern connectors, power consumption, etc.</p>

<p>I would love to have a VT220 replica: same size/feeling, a real keyboard, just text. I would even be fine with RS232, but tbh USB or WiFi would make my life much easier.<p>Is anyone selling something like this?</p>

<p>And now that I think of it. IMAP (more or less) allows you to download your mbox file. Why downloading using HTTP is so much worst (it isn't) than using IMAP?</p>

<p>email was working long before there was IMAP. If you want your "keys", you have to be able to download your mbox file (which is possible in hey).</p>
