Still working on Falling Fruit in my spare time! I've packaged the PWA into a mobile app using Capacitor, seems to work well on Android, would be great if someone helped me with iOS (mostly permissions for things) as I have no devices for it.

Falling Fruit beta.fallingfruit.org
We're a foraging resource where people can put locations of fruit trees and other opportunities for urban harvest. We're building a React app to replace the current server side rendered website and mobile app, it's in a really good place now and quite close to feature parity but there are still small layout issues and missing features, plus everything else we could potentially do. There's also a NodeJS API that could be worked on.
Github.com/falling-fruit/falling-fruit-web

The start-up was a fine gamble but did not really work out so since April this year I'm temporarily hacking on a non-commercial project on the side to being a dad, and looking for more opportunities to do worthwhile work.
I am good at turning prototypes into products, and orienting myself in novel domains.
Over the years I was able to do plenty of meaningful work, in academic, commercial, and non-profit contexts, and I would quite like to continue. If my profile - the CV or one of the technologies listed - is a match for you, do send me an email!
