I made a multi-player (up to 12 players) Scrabble-like game. Everyone submits their turn at the same time so there are no long waits between turns. It's a "capture territory with words" game.
http://crosswordislandhopper.com/cih

Also this was a somewhat similar effort to yours, to create the Common English Lexicon word list that can be used on the word game site woogles.io:

I made a root comment before seeing this one but here's my shot at answering this question with the data / player base that I have:

I also developed a word search game and was interested in a methodology for determining what words are "reasonably findable".
The best I could come up without going through the dictionary word-by-word like you did was to use data from actual games played, to see what words were actually being found by the players.
Here is the word frequency from about 900 days of daily challenges (about 15 players per day), ranging from TEE found 4636 times to LAWYERED found once:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OY32E-JyHh2C4A_1ADy4...
In this game the goal is not completion but to get a high score that you can compare against others (and yourself from previous days). So far I haven't done much with the list of word frequencies except an experimental feature where you can see stats about your game using "commonly found words only", e.g. what percentage of commonly found words did you find.
You can try the game here:

And the daily challenge:

It's an interesting game, I think. So far I haven't quite reached the point of satisfying gameplay as I keep getting caught in traps like forgetting that words need to go down, not up (even though I play Scrabble!). I'll try it a few more times.
I also created a word-based strategy game (Crossword Island Hopper) with the concepts of capturing territory and battling your opponent. It has these differences:
1) Each turn is one word, and turns are played simultaneously by all players.
2) In a battle the newest word can either be destroyed or letters can be converted to your own.
3) Default mode is to win by points but there are also modes where you need to connect your words from point to point to win, like this game.
You can try it here:

Does anyone know why there would be multiple bots (I assume) GETting the URL in the post repeatedly?
I.e. there are multiple IP addresses from which I have been getting GET requests every few minutes since this post went up. To be clear, there are multiple examples of the same IP address repeatedly getting the URL.

Two years ago my pandemic project was an online multi-player variant of Scrabble named Crossword Island Hopper where you capture territory by placing words on a board. It proved to be wildly unpopular.
More recently I have been working on Bog Gobbler, which is a variant of Boggle where you capture territory by finding words in the grid. The territory-capture element is much more relevant in the multi-player game, but also affects the mechanics of solo games.
This one is a little more popular and there is a daily solo challenge where everyone plays the same grid, with a global and personal leaderboard.
You can go directly to the daily challenge at: http://crosswordislandhopper.com/dailyChallenge
If you know how to play Boggle the one thing you need to be aware of is that after the first word you find, all subsequent words must include at least one letter that you already "own".

I like games like Scrabble and Bananagrams. I like games where capturing territory is part of the strategy. This is a game that attempts to combine elements of both. I've been playing around with the idea in my head for years and finally found the time recently to try to implement it.
I'm still working on tweaking the rules and trying to find new ways to make the game more interesting, but basically you place words onto a map which is either random, or a world map, or a map of the U.S. etc., and you try to control more of the map than your opponents.
