Yeah psychosis is quite devastating state to be in.

Get hobbies, talk to people that arent instrumental in your life about regular stuff, live, outside, take walks in nature, discuss the things you discuss with ai to people irl in meet-up groups related to the topic. Dont go it alone.

AI psychosis to me is someone going down a deep thought trail without grounding and getting lost in the sauce. They might come back out with a 200 page manifesto or math proof about aliens or something

Programming was always about designing rube goldberg systems that did a complicated state machine akin to dominos but now we have a probabalistic and nondeterministic domino that has a huge amount of dominos inside amd can dynamically generate many different paths of dominos sometimes not even leading to the intended final domino you wanted to fall.

I see it more like a compiler

Use tla+ and have it go back and forth with you to spec out your system behavior then iterate on it trying to link the tla+ spec with the actual code implementing it

Pull out as many pure functions as possible and exhaustively test the input and output mappings.
