but importantly, the down-the-line costs can be obfuscated and spread across the private and public sectors just enough that the government can claim deniability and therefore is no longer on the hook for the costs.

I needed a way to quickly mount and view data from a device that uses MTP, and I hated the other file-view solutions that existed, So I made one with claude. If you regularly mount MTP devices (Kindle, Camera, Switch, etc) this might be useful to you!

Hey all. I made this because, where I work, we aren't allowed to use any app that allows cloud-sync or AI within the application. I started with the things I needed (to-do lists, due dates, and interlinking) and I kept building up from there. I am hoping others in the community find it as useful as I do! I switched to iOS in anticipation of this change. The reality is, if they are thinking about doing this, it's only a matter of time before they do it. If I have to choose between two walled gardens, apple will win every time.
