I was paying $1400 a month of my GLP-1 (on top of the $2400 monthly health insurance premium). I eventually just bought a batch from a reputable online compounding pharmacy for a very small fraction of that (about 12 months of meds at a time), and send one of the vials in for testing at a mass spectrometer for about $500.

You make some fair points, but it’s also worth some self-reflection as an HOA president to understand why so many people resent these institutions. I’ve given two HOAs an honest try, and both ended up reinforcing the same patterns of pettiness and overreach that give them their reputation. The structure itself seems to attract a small group exerting outsized control over others’ property. Hopefully, over time, communities can move toward simpler, more democratic systems that preserve shared spaces without breeding unnecessary conflict.

You likely have 90% of your wealth directly tied to the success of the US. Politically unpredictable and divided, larger deficits than ever, persistent inflation, trillion dollar DOD budget while most under the age of 35 are burdened with huge education debt, unaffordable housing & healthcare, and failing infrastructure and systems.
US assets aren't becoming more valuable, the dollar is losing purchasing power. Bitcoin is a hedge that the US won't maintain it's dominance and growth trajectory of the last 30 years.

I've recently moved to America and set up my first SIM card. I now get 2-10 phishing texts or scam calls a day while while the help desk at the telecom pretty much says, "that's just the way it is".
Has anyone had any success greatly reducing this? I'm seriously considering disabling SMS and calls on my mobile and having a home phone connected to an answering machine.

Congrats, to YC. The world is full of people who will discount the success of Brian and , but in just a few short years he's created one of the world's largest financial institutions.
In line with the ethos of crypto? No, not at all, but a bridge has been made between the old world and the new. This IPO will load the coffers of some of the most innovative VCs, engineers, and people who took the risk of investing in, and working at Coinbase.

"Yesterday both Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org received allegations of copyright infringement of the Bitcoin whitepaper by lawyers representing Craig Steven Wright. In this letter, they claim Craig owns the copyright to the paper, the Bitcoin name, and ownership of bitcoin.org. They also claim he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, and the original owner of bitcoin.org. Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org were both asked to take down the whitepaper."
