if you read the article 2pb is available as flash storage in the data pipeline, used to dedupe, clean, normalize, etc, for training from 60pb of raw data.

The fact that some of the domains lapsed is wild, bit.ai has got to worth a bit. But I also checked a handful of the lapsed domains, they aren't lapsed, eg airfront.ai is still active

I'm sure that's not the only thing they've used it for. Definitely looking for any exploit they can use to enhance data gathering, and cracking into IOS, private networks, etc. Gotta keep an eye on citizens, but hey, it's the only government body that really listens you.

at this point it almost seems like citizens should review AI models before the government can access them.

as a t-1 diabetic, this is exactly what we do for nearly every meal we eat, especially in restaurants, look at it and try to estimate the number of carbs.

bitcoin is forecast to uses about 150 TWh of electricity this year vs all other datacenter operations foretasted to use 1000 TWh. Bitcoin is esitimated to be about 52.4% sustainable energy (renewables plus nuclear) where datacenters are 42% sustainable energy.
