Been building a data ontology project i call Tirith - think palantir's gotham + their different modules on top. Can ingest from different sources (textual, structured or freeform for now, images + video coming maybe later), detect relationships between objects, view graph, geospatial view and rudimentary analysts view. Very raw but with the help of nlp and/or openai compatible cheap model like deepseek its already amazingly capable.
And second thing im building is out of sheer frustration as a father of 5 in the school info management - https://www.classtable.org - aims to be a full school management software which is easy to use for both school staff, students AND (personal itch) for parents to keep an eye on their childrens progress

The game deserves it. As a non-native some of the things are tough without "cheating" but its still fun. Didn't check but do you also support other languages besides English? (In Estonian for example we have some tricky vovels: üöäõ, which might throw some code haywire)

hm, if i understand you correctly (non-native speaker here) you are advocating for plant based diet - and if thats the case, I don't agree with you. It might be possible to live on plant based diet in Mediterranean, but here up north where i reside (and even further in Arctic) it is, I think, next to impossible to survive only on plants - human body, afaik, cannot get everything that is needed in this environment, purely from plants. Taking maybe a very graphic example to get the point across - Eskimos did not learn to hunt whales (which was and is for them very dangerous) for fun but to survive - to counter the cold you need to consume more calories than you can get from (with reasonable amounts of) plants. (of course in arctic, theres whole another issue of growing anything ). Ofc one might say that in today's world everything can be flown in, supplements can be taken - but what's the cost ? to the body, to the environment where the plants/supplements are manufactured...?

Backstory:
I have a keen interest in security from multiple viewpoints, and analysing a unknown firmware file format has been a topic which has popped up every once in a while but I have not found a tool which would be
a) FREE and/or
b) worked the way my brain does.
So when thinking of a use case to test an AI coding capabilities with, a "but what if...?" moment came.
So BinRev came to be as a test/review project for an AI particular coding agent, but since the initial code, I have used multiple different tools & models to polish it (see the readme in the repo for particulars).
What is it?
I envision BinRev to be a tool which can be used to visually analyse the format of a known or unknown binary, build the understanding of the structure step by step and at any given moment export it in a machine readable format for further processing. It can already build a pretty complicated formats, but all testing and any input or collaboration is highly valued and welcome.
More details?
- written in Typescript
- running locally in browser (should be able to work without any connection, but its not tested)
- no data is sent anywhere
- nothing is analysed but the binary
- no registration or signup
- quite certainly contains plethora of bugs (although I have done my best to iron some out)
- completely free
BinRev is open source, GPLv3, contributions are warmly welcomed.
