 Headlines in English tend to have a style that's widely used, but would not be considered good usage outside of headlines, which I could expect to be troublesome for non-native speakers.</p>

<p>Several reasons, but the biggest I see is Passwordless.<p>Windows 10 can act as a FIDO2 authenticator like a Yubikey, but needs a TPM to do so.  They want this to be something that actually happens for the average user in windows 11.</p>

<p>My recollection is BitTorrent encryption has mostly nothing to do with real security, and almost everything to do with the cat-and-mouse against ISP middleboxes.  Plaintext BitTorrent traffic was highly identifiable and blockable, but even simple obfuscation was enough to avoid them, so simple encryption was adopted.</p>

<p>In my TrackIR config, I move my head left an inch, the projected head moves 6 inches.  This is more useful than a even mapping in practice, but solidly breaks the 'looking through a window' illusion.</p>

<p>As a TrackIR user, it feels to me like it should be possible to do something like this with the 6dof headtracking data from TrackIR, but basically nobody uses a 1-1 mapping that would produce a camera trick like this.</p>
