The strategy that has worked for me so far is to delete all any addicting app (entertainment, social media, etc) that has a web version. I still can access them with browser, but the experience is not the same, so after a while, I get bored, and close them.

Are resources really scarce? Other than stars and planets, there are plenty of resources in the astroids and gas giants, and interstellar space. We can argue that the most scarce resource is organic matter. In universal scale, wood is exponentially more scarce than gold.

Not only Americans, I’m seeing this pattern everywhere in my age group peers. I’m mid-40 and in almost every gathering with friends and family, there are about 5 adults to each child. Most of the children have no siblings and no cousins.
