This is the book. I thought that this was a thought provoking book. Sooner or later the world will look like the one described in it if we don't change our ways.

What we are doing is not sustainable.

Sooner or later people will decide that enough is enough.

Adding AI to the mix just made things worse. I'm still finding issues in the codebase/documentation that I need to review, test and fix.

The replacement is being trained. I made sure that, while I expect them to use LLM supported development .. they own their contribution.

This is going to be a fun ride.

My oldest is 8 and can get a debit card now.

When I think back I made a lot of mistakes that I made with money was around the time I was 18. They were expensive to undo later.

My parents didn't teach me being responsive with money as they shown me how but didn't explain why.

I will do better next time. :)

This means all this akward conversations about why I don't spend money on stuff that I don't need just because some YouTubers want me to.

My children slept outside while it was below zero C. The only time they were not sleeping outside was while they were ill.. having a cold or something.

I had no idea that people did this. This sounds expensive.

Just like other people have no idea that we (Scandinavia) let babies sleep outside in a baby carriage wrapped in a tiny sleeping bag. Fresh air is awesome. Cold air is even better.

This works for some babies and is not universal in any way.

I don't see that hiring responsible are looking for intelligent developers. They, in my opinion, have always been looking for exact experience with specific technology and any arguments that you are able to quickly learn something are ignored and overruled by some other candidate having the exact experience they need.

You really should purge the corrupt politicians before doing anything else.
