In my experience it depends a lot on what you give the agent: agents that work on a project well structured, well documented and the agent is given very good context (that documentation, project structure and a clear pattern/style to reuse) then yes, it can be very productive and provide good quality code, especially if the ask is well contained, explained, has clear goals. If you give no boundaries, no good context, references, pattern and style then yes, they write a huge amount of useless code.

I think (good) VCs will always first and foremost look for the quality of the idea, the potential value returned and solidity of who's pitching it (solidity in terms of ability to deliver, passion, be willing to make sacrifices and learn, etc). And I think VCs are realizing now that there are a lot of people that are not trusting AI so the market attractiveness a product that says AI front and center is not granted.

So yes I don't think that everything needs to have AI by default.

A way to track globally what companies have stored my email or phone number and report them if they're not supposed to.
