I think good system should be prepared to do a reboot in a short notice. Even some long running jobs can have a pause mechanism.

It terms of the IT sector there is not much difference to the rest of the Europe. America has dominated the field, China is catching up, especially in global giants category.

You greatly overestimate its significance. The benefits are roughly 1% of the GDP. In 2023 Poland netted 8.2 bn€ [1]. The GDP was 751 bn€.

Home NAS, with data redundancy and filesystem with checksums. It's great because you can access it from any device and there is a ton of FOSS for it now

Cool project. I think most real life problems would be solved with shared memory objects, c.f. shm_open [1].

Python has a wrapper on in the standard library [2], not sure about other languages

Funny that this is a non-existent problem for the previous generation of phones, since they had removable battery.
