If the "inventory" (the car) is "lost," then wouldn't that imply that the renter has a car that they shouldn't have? I.E. stolen it? Or at the very least not returned it when they should have?

You've been able to enable this in your account preferences for a while now, and it's also been the default on non-English versions of Wikipedia for a while as well.

About 15 years when I got my first digital camera, I noticed that there were always a few dots in the same spots that were bright white/red/green/blue no matter what the settings on the camera were or what the picture was of. I found out these were "hot pixels" and were caused by defects in the sensor. I'd always wondered if someone could create an algorithm to match photos to a specific camera based on hot pixels. It seems like this is exactly that.

I've always read that the word "baroque" came from a word that meant "misshapen pearl", but I've never actually seen these pearls before. These are very neat.

I use Syncthing, which is similar to ResilioSync. Syncthing doesn't have as many features as ResilioSync, but its completely free and open source.

IIRC Microsoft had something like this years ago, but the results weren't nearly as smooth or natural looking. I can't remember what it was called, though.

I think this is the key right here. They want to reduce the life expectancy of kitchen appliances to force people to buy new ones sooner.
