Fallback are still very useful and won't poison much your cache hits too much if the provider is down anyway.

Years ago, I built a sort of camo-proxy like, in Elixir. It was doing full passthrough of the User-Agent because the project that I originally built it for needed it for the upstreams (i don't remember why). Anyway, I ended up pulling it into pleroma -- a couple of months later, we had been informed by some instance owners that google itself were sending them DMCA notices, because it was proxying googlebot's request, with its user-agent!

Exactly the same experience. I really loved GLM5.2 for a while, but after trying it again after riding DSv4 flash (new) for a while, they're mostly at the same capabilities, with GLM being slower and much, much more expensive. A task cost me 2$ where it did very wrong, whereas Flash nailed it almost instantly for like a rounding error on my billing page.

It is a pain from openRouter if you don't define your providers correctly, but for DeepSeek, surely not- the weights aren't released yet and there's only one provider, DeepSeek.

Already replied the same in another comment, but I recently got the "YHD-8390" on Aliexpress for around 100$ - has wifi, usb, ethernet, and works pretty well.

An easy way to do this, which I use to print recipes with my TP, is to render the page as an image. I use dom-to-image for that.

I recently got the YHD-8390 on Aliexpress for around 100$, works pretty well. Connects by Ethernet, USB and Wifi. Having plenty of fun with it.

Another Down Detector bullshit article.... it's getting incredibly tiring. Every time a provider (Phone, Internet or even cloud services) suffer issues ALL of them are reported as down.

Could be! Other comments (~~can't find them now as the issue got full of useless comments~~ e.g. https://github.com/stylus/stylus/issues/2938#issuecomment-31...) also noted that the GHSA bot have nuked a lot of other npm packages since days or weeks in the same fashion, so it could also be an AI scanner going full full nuclear.

That could track but people in the GitHub issue ( https://github.com/stylus/stylus/issues/2938#issuecomment-31... ) have found that no "other" version of Stylus has been released.

I don't see how you can "protect" against a large language model that cannot do browsing.
