I underwent allergy treatment that stopped working, so I decided to try steroid medication. After about four days, I began experiencing unusual migraines every day. I had migraines before, but they always came with a headache. However, with the steroids, I started getting just very strange optic auras. Everything began to sparkle out of nowhere, becoming more intense until I had to close my eyes. The symptoms stopped once I discontinued the steroid treatment.

If you like me have many events during the day, you are probably also tired by constant switching to Mac Calendar or Google Calendar just to check when the next event starts. I searched for a widget that would show me upcoming events in some "always visible" way, but all apps showed the schedule in a separate window. So I decided to make a new app that would show a schedule right in a Dock icon.
More to this, My Upcoming Events shows a countdown in the same Dock icon several minutes before the start of the event, which is handy for me, so I can start right on time.
Limitations: MacOS, Google Calendar only.

I don't think it is a good idea to use disabled-like styling for enabled inputs. Especially for "classless" framework that targets simplicity and basic html standards.

I decided to open source Treenga issue tracking system I worked on the last year. It was mainly created to provide an easier way to create task descriptions in "full-page" mode, where images will be treated as first-class citizens, and provide a way to manage hundreds of tasks. Something like a hybrid of Dropbox Paper and Github Issues. Treenga has a hierarchical tag structure, so you can create a structure like
Departments
-- Marketing
-- Product
-- Development
Importance
-- High
-- Medium
-- Low
etc.
Now I want to open source it, so you can install it on your own server and use it for free under MIT license. It is done by using Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js and required about a 1 developer/year to build, mainly because of several changes in the project concept (I suppose it would be about 30% faster without that changes).
Project url: https://treenga.com/, Github: https://github.com/treenga/treenga

It depends on what you call "design". User flow, interactions, states, rectangles and colors or just rectangles and colors. If first, there are a lot of other tools, maybe not so hyped so you don't see them every day. Just to name a few: Axure, Justinmind, iRise, Indigo Design. Recent version of Adobe XD is quite a powerful tool as well. With the rise of rapid application development tools we possibly can add Bubble, Retool, Outsystems and similar tools to this list too.

I think many people don't get why Axure is still popular is because they don't design for enterprise software. Sometimes it is just much easier to create table as a table and not as a bunch of vertical and horizontal lines like you will have to do in most of design software.

I tried to switch to Adobe XD, but sooner or later you can't do some sort of thing that is simple in Axure and you are stuck. Simple example. You have a settings page like this:
Setting 1 name [toggle]
Setting 2 name [toggle]
Setting 3 name [toggle]
You want to turn any toggle on and panel with subsettings should appear underneath clicked setting name, shifting down all other settings below. In Axure it is just a checkmark "push widgets below".
