I do this too with a different provider whose whole business is relaying for self hosters. I have had exactly 0 problems since I started a couple of years ago. Its kind of perfect.

Setting aside the fact that 100% of the air has been let out of that accusation and nobody takes it seriously anymore and that's probably dangerous, whether or not he's a Nazi, which I doubt very much that he is, is immaterial. Disinformation is basically the stock-in-trade for politicians, it is not illegal. This will likely be and certainly should be an acquittal on first amendment grounds. It is political persecution, just like Saudi Arabia imprisoning someone advocating for women's rights.

How people don't see where this kind of thing is leading is beyond me.

I did try that but it just runs 'set -o vi' and exits. He shows using it to launch a multiplexer... I suppose it's an alternative to 'ssh -c command'. I tried to figure out a way to invoke 'set' followed by the remote user's $SHELL but couldn't figure it out. I'll keep fiddling; thanks for your reply

Is there a way I can rig it so every machine I ssh into has already had 'set -o vi' run for my session, without having to change anything on machine I'm logging into?

When I first started using Linux a gazillion years ago I gave a fair shake to Red Hat, Slackware, OpenSUSE, that one where you had to compile everything, and Debian. I landed on Debian, and it's still my go to for servers and VMs.

Yes, this usage is basically "wahrscheinlich". Here it is a rhetorical device to soften the author's conclusion:

This will usually be the case. When something is likely X it is probably X, not possibly X.

Not for nothing, and this is a cool use of technology and the internet, but was I supposed to be under the impression that car dealers aren't greedy? Greed is the central axis around which capitalist economic activity is oriented. It works very, very well. I'll take greed over feigned compassion and breadlines any day of the week.

Recently I bought a Toyota SUV for a $7000 markup. But I was able to sell my lease (which I had no idea was even possible) for $5000.

I didn't see a blog post with instructions on how to remove the antennas. Got one? I'd love to do this. I'd love even more to pay a mechanic to do this but I'm not even sure what I'm asking for. I think there are 3 two way radios in my car, Sirius and 2 cellular modems from what I can glean from the user's manual. It's a 6 month old $50k car; asked about it on a subreddit and someone said it would probably void my warranty - fucking awesome.

Legal protections would be nice, but I'd like to stop being stalked _immediately_.
