its simple demand and supply if you have 100 buyers for 99 the price will shoot up but if you have 100 seller and 99 buyers sellers will drop price so. Previously gas turbines were charging through the nose when sudden demand spikes but now batteries are competing with them and pricing them out

okay but anyway for electric commercial aviation 1000-1200w/kg would be enough to replace 70-80% of all flights.

Lithium air batteries theoretically can reach 10000-12000w/kg though they have only reached 1200w in labs so far. Gasoline is 13000w/kg. We don't need to match gasoline as it is inefficient.
CATL just got it's 500w/kg batteries for commercial aviation approved I am betting China is going to do the same with electric planes that it did with cars. They can't build a efficient enough jet engine to be competitive yet but they already can build the narrow body planes replace the jet engine with electric take over the market for short haul aviation once the battery densities cross 1000w/hr.

I disagree the worth of software will become a lot less as LLM take hold and more people outside software devs know how to use them properly. I am the default IT manager for our small office as I am the guy most interested in tech and in the last 2-3 years I am getting llm to write python scripts for me to do work that would have cost $100s of dollars. Currently you need to pay $100-1000s for a software with 100s of features while you might actually need 1 or 2 of the features which you can get the llm to write for you.
As the LLM's keep getting better at writing software actual coding skills required will decrease which will result in a huge influx of software crashing prices. You can see this in already in open source projects in the last 6 months to a year Jellyfin had a huge influx of custom clients made by different people for fixing their own itches about the official software.
