I'm currently working on NewsNinja[0] in my spare time, a RSS reader app that groups articles talking about the same story and optimizes reading time.
I started it a couple of months ago, I was tired of reading the same story posted across different news outlets.
Over time I added new features like summarization, the ability to hide articles that have specific words in titles, etc.
Currently working on adding custom themes and fonts for the reader mode and various customization options.
It's a fun little side project, still much to do to improve it, I'll be busy for a while!
[0]https://newsninja.timelabs.io

You can send email from your alias with the Mail app, I do it every day.
You need to set it up manually (not use the certificate from fastmail).
After you set up the email address, go to Settings -> Password and accounts -> Tap your account -> Tap you email -> tap the "Email" field and then you can add your aliases tapping the button "Add Another Email"

I might be over paranoid and correct me if wrong but as far as I understand, almost all the email clients out there either store your credentials or the access token to be able to send you push notifications for new emails.
Once they have the credentials/token, they have full control over your emails, what happen if they get compromised or they leak your data?
Even 2FA will not protect you in this case since you already give them the auth token after a successful 2FA auth, or a specific app password.
Considering the email is used to reset almost all other accounts passwords, how can you trust a third party email clients? Am I missing something?
Thanks.
