I would try Jazzmeia Horn on vocals. She is an absolute monster.
Mark Guiliana on drums is as good as anyone ever too.

If you don't like So What without an explanation then I just don't think it is for you.
I love lamb vindaloo too but if you take a bite and don't like it..maybe a few repeated exposures might adjust your palette or it just might not be to your taste.
Nothing wrong with that. So What though was just instant love for me.
It certainly helps to be a musician though too. I can't really separate Coltrane's playing from the appreciation for his virtuosity.

I am huge fan of Sheila Maurice-Grey and Kokoroko. She plays super chill like Miles too.
I would put Cassie Kinoshi on sax as my fav sax player too.
I don't know how any Jazz fan could not love Kokoroko.

America has a warrior culture even though we pretend to not be. Even though there are few times in our history we were not involved in a war.
A huge % of the population spends Sundays watching enormous men try to kill each other in American football play war.
If athletics aren't your thing then you probably are going to war in business or the arts.
If none of these are your things and American, there is a really good chance you are at war with yourself.

The problem with Bach is the 1100 pieces he has. It took me so long to hear things I really loved.
For me, it is his lute music that really shows his genius.
Part of the problem with the classical masters is we speak as if we love all their work the same.
I love Pink Floyd too but that doesn't mean I think all Pink Floyd albums are equal.

There is no mystery here. It is expensive to bring someone new on and train them.
There is an arbitrage too by the company that once most people are comfortable, they chose stability and the known quantity they have over the unknown opportunity they would have with changing companies.
The real question is how can someone not understand that a company is not going to pay more if they don't have to? Seems kind of obvious.

Even if you do this, a state backed intelligence agency is going to eventually find you if they keep trying.
The idea "the west" can protect any single person from a state backed intelligence agency set on eliminating that person is totally delusional.
I would question what is going on in a person's head to believe this is even possible. Maybe if we incarcerated the individual under a fake name then put that individual in solitary confinement for life, this would work!

The biggest reason is because it is a recent ambition.
The US Navy on the other hand had to fight the Philippine-American War in 1899.
There is also no point in talking about forces in separation. There is a unification with the air force.
To me, to really understand the US Military, look up the B-2 spirit videos on youtube and look up the 4.5 megaton explosion video on youtube.
The full fleet of B-2 spirit have about 116 of 4 megaton explosions. These are 1 megaton bombs though so they have 400+ of those. 400 megaton bombs being dropped by an invisible UFO.
Then force projection to do what? Invade the US? We have enough guns to arm every man, woman and child in the US. It is estimated there are 12 billion rounds of ammunition sold in the US every year.
It is fun to talk about these things in the abstract but all out war with the US is basically delusional. The PLA has done an amazing job of catch up but to surpass the US you have to become the most deadly unified force that has ever existed. That is no easy task and Americans love war. There is not that many years in America's existence that it was not involved in war in some way.

It isn't that bad. Look at the Nasdaq after the dotcom bust:
2000 -36.84%
2001 -32.65%
2002 -37.58%
If you think now is bad imagine trying to get a job in 2002 in tech. Tech was deader than dead.
This is just a normal job market now. You went to college but you don't know shit or have any experience. It sucks but you have to grind and eventually opportunity will find you, you just have to not squander it when it does.
Opportunity will find you in ways and in things you won't even expect.
The reason you should not worry is because you are young and have all the time in the world. If it takes 5 years so what? I would gladly trade my account balances to be young and fresh out of college right now. Figuring out how to become not broke after college is the most fun game of your entire life. The more it wears on you and gets you down the better the payoff feels.

I use to be in this situation but found a much better job. My hard work is actually appreciated now even though it is not as much work as my previous job.
Pretty sure the business strategy at my old job was to keep giving more work until the person quit or figured out a way to handle it. If you said no, you weren't going to be the one progressing.
I stayed to my breaking point, didn't over stay, but so glad I left.
I like difficult tasks, completing difficult tasks is really fulfilling to me. I just don't like impossible situations.

It is because the world got that much wealthier. When you get wealthy you start eating like a king and not a starving peasant.
GDP per capita in China in 1990 was $320 A YEAR.
GDP per capita in India in 1990 was $360 A YEAR.
Then you get people posting on the internet about how bad things are economically, on a device that costs 5 years of labor of the average Chinese person in 1990. As if the modern world is just a given and has always been this way.

As opposed to when in the past?
This linen of thought is just so lacking gratitude for the time and place you were actually born.
You basically won the lottery in the grand scheme of things but still complain.
Would it have been better to be born in 1950? Certainly not if you happen to be born in China.
How about in 1910 so you hit your 20s right as the depression hits. Or 1920 so you grow up in the depression then go fight in WW2.
How about Cambodia in 1970?
Yea life would be better if I was 6'4, strikingly handsome with a dead rich uncle that left me all his money too.
