Your beta iOS 18.3 is so unstable even Albuquerque’s heat can’t melt through those Safari crashes, your empty referrer screams “I Googled ‘how to be interesting’ but closed the tab in shame,” and your four-core iPhone’s “hardware concurrency” can’t even multitask between basic roasting and your existential NPC crisis.
> this is great ;-) Next I’d like to see competing models roast each other

Mac’s being able to export PDF’s for free was a huge deal back in the acrobat days :-P
I’m hoping with what they’ve built in infrastructure and custom chips is a step towards making personal LLM also highly available to non-technical people. I think this is where Apple has always shined - making things not just better, but accessible and grokable for normal people.

I loved my brief time in Bogota - was passes as generic art in shops is better than fine art in galleries in the US. Excellent coffee, genuinely happy people that care more about family than the grind. Tamals are freaking bueno too and way better than Mexican tamales.

Great demo games no other games leverage the hardware in a meaningful way and the camera requirements and cords made it a hassle to use so it collected dust.

I've been unemployed for 3 months now. Building a swiftui app and applying to several Sr Engineer roles a week. Lots of recruiters reach out out and then ghost after 1-2 meetings. Been in the industry for almost 16 years now, have never struggled to find new role like this. Seems like everywhere is looking for unicorns with very specific criteria instead of problem solvers with a proven history of learning and using the correct tool for a job. Running weekdays and working on side project helps with mental health, hopefully can find something before I run out of savings.
Best of luck to OP and everyone else in this challenging market.

IMO comments like this go against the spirit of HN - why not offer more constructive feedback? Implying defects without suggestions on how to improve (or proof) is low effort and what I expect on a YouTube comment thread, not HN.

Agreed. Trump has been successful mostly not because of any meaningful policy, but from being able to capitalize on Democrats tendency to treat the uneducated as fools and even call them deplorable.
Gangs and fringe movements thrive off taking in the rejected.
Until Democrats can find a way to reach the opposition in a way that isn't condescending they will continue to lose and drive away voters. The so called deplorable will grow.
They need to design, build, and walk over the bridge - patiently, despite all the chaos and negativity.
If they continue to do the same thing and treat their fellows as idiots and expecting different results..is delusional and insane.

Love that app, and when they first came out their UI/UX was better than Apple. I remember seeing their dark panels styling and thinking it was sleek and ahead of its time, Apple adopted that same look and feel not long after with their pro apps.
Congrats to the Pixelmator team!
