This is not clear at all. Even the most expensive robotic/arms hands perfectly controlled fail to do thing as quickly and easily as human limbs, not to mention the chaotic environment that is the real world. It's clear that it can happen, but the timeline is not quick.

The paper is from January, so the data is probably from 2025. Very unlikely anything in the paper is relevant now (if it ever was).

I agree that ecommerce interfaces (with the exception of McMaster-Carr) are all terrible. However, the next phase will probably leapfrog "make the interface better" to have a concierge agent do the shopping, or at least present a tight list of options and pros/cons.

Not the worst trend, but especially comical since so much of food processing is about removing fiber to make foods faster to eat and less satiating.

I'm OK with this. There have been a lot dumber "health" fads (low fat, low sodium, etc.) than focusing on more protein. Protein is also more satiating than carbohydrates so it can reduce calorie intake overall.

There's some reason. City workers may need to live in the area. If housing becomes more expensive, the city may need to pay higher wages.
