<p>I assumed the reason there are so many job offerings for kubernetes engineers is either because these jobs have high churn, or because kubernetes takes more work to maintain. I think linux+nginx+postgres+favourite-lang is still the most sensible way to go. Good engineers don't overcomplicate things.</p>
