This bit made me laugh

But wild rats are rare. Albertans have grown so unaccustomed to rats that they frequently mistake squirrels, gophers, and other small animals for them: of the 875 reported sightings in 2025, only 47 turned out to be actual rats.

Lots of different options, hosted and self hosted.

Github actions and GitLab are two of the more common ones, the latter is self hosted but the former is the dominant one if CV skills is needed

More companies should be using cheaper models and self hosted.

Most developers don't create cutting edge software, they make boring and straight forward CRUD apps with long established frameworks and languages.

You don't need a cutting edge model for that.

Companies like Amazon (regardless of the Blue Space link), alongside governments, who have a demand to send things into space, are critical because it means investors are willing to back competitors of SpaceX

The SpaceX near monopoly is not good for the planet
