I've been thinking a lot about user interface design lately. Specifically, I've been thinking about breaking down large applications supporting myriad of specialized user workflows.
I'd be grateful for any shared material you've found helpful for building systems that employee these concepts.
P.s. I've been failing to find a blog post written between 2021 & 2022 that broke these concepts down nicely. The site appeared to be using some kind of graph paper background if that helps ring anyone's memory. I can't place it exactly, but the author discussed applications that would dynamically pop-in features relevant for users' workflows.

Tangential, but I love the format for your site. Any plans to do a "How I built this blog" post?

Have any good links to papers or books covering the state of the art in developing these systems?

Another anecdote: I was diagnosed in middle school and prescribed Vyvanse, which I took for the duration of my k-12 education. Some side effects I lived with were loss of appetite, social anxiety, difficulty sleeping, and later on a complete suppression of sex-drive. These were brought to my doctor's attention but were more or less considered costs to a greater good.
I sought behavioral therapy because the side effects became too much of a burden. I hold a job and remain productive, but I still struggle dealing with my adhd without medication. I'm not sure there's a point I'm trying to make here, just wanting to share some of my experience.

This post is funny. “Web assembly is super duper easy! let’s do a hello world example! But also let’s not do a hello world examples because strings don’t exist in WASM and that would be kind of confusing!”
