> Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who was a keen spiritualist, even consulted a medium to attempt to solve the mystery of her disappearance.
This bit was the most surprising part of the article for me, given the themes of science and materialism in Sherlock Holmes books. Looking a bit into it, Doyle really seems to have been into Spiritualism for some bizarre reason [0].
[0] https://arthurconandoyle.co.uk/spiritualist

> is largely built upon hobbyists' transcription efforts.
Which is the same model as one of the other holdings of Muse Group, Ultimate Guitar. It has a wide database for user-created guitar tablatures for most popular songs. Starting from 10 or so years ago, the experience has deteriorated rapidly; they
- push their "Pro" versions at the top of each search result,
- overlay a bullshit video on the actual tablatures which is easily mistaken for a video tutorial for the song you are looking at,
- user created GuitarPro tabs require an account to download,
- there is an ever-present countdown until their 80% runs out, which resets every two days or so.
When I first heard of MuseScore and the fact that Tantacrul worked on it, I was quite excited about an open source notation app but I want nothing to do with it because of their parent company.

Default should be first fret to the left, as is used widely. This way it's quite confusing and it's not obvious where to flip it.

Their way of placating the vocal minority is the Community portal, where those who are passionate enough to express ideas to improve Spotify (in a way that is useful for the users, and not necessarily for Spotify) are given a place to discuss their ideas and are promptly ignored.

The CH yoke doesn’t have a dedicated hand-controlled rudder but it has three levers for prop, do you mean mapping one of them to control the rudder?
