I am laughing that this phone's main selling feature is its 50MP Sony LYTIA L910 main came. Something poetically wrong about that.

while the SO is dying a painful death (not going to sugar coat it), my questions whether the knowledge in there is already assimilated into the AI's knowledge database? If it is, it can be retrievable in the future.

A lot of the answers are factually useful and it would a massive loss if it ever just disappear into the ether.

HN has a funny was of bubbling up low value article such as this. Jev is far from being a fallen software. It works and it works well. Just because no one is talking about it does not make it a failure.

I have also found that AI has accelerated my learning. Rather than spending time searching for the right material, it just presents the material and guides you as you work through the topics.

Ask HN: What is the most useful thing AI has done for you?

yitchelle — Sat, 17 Oct 2026 06:06:44 +0000

I had a deep conversation with a friend about what is the most useful thing AI has created/done for either of us.

For my private life, AI helped me to diagnose and root caused a running toilet, and avoided the high cost of a plumber. It even help to select the replacement parts and how to replace them.

Of course, on the tech side, AI is helping me build a healthcare company.

What was yours?

Not MSDOS, but I feel obliged to shared the story of an auto shop in Poland using a Commodore 64 to run the calibration and wheel balancing some years back. It was viral news at the time but worth sharing again.
