Unfortunately the only way to do it on IOS Safari is as the user above described, you have to install and configure an extension, there are no 'custom' search engines natively. Other IOS browsers are fine, i.e. Chrome, Vivaldi, Orion, etc.

Even worse, you can omit “political” meme - he may be a political figure but as far as I can tell it has no relation to any policies…it’s just a silly picture.

This seems unnecessarily cynical, 4 years is a pretty long time to go between major versions for a library like this, and if you look at the breaking changes they're not exactly severe. This isn't a React Router situation where you need to re-write your whole app.

Do you have any information on how to do this? I've done a quick search but I wasn't able to find any relevant results.

EDIT: think I found it https://github.com/webpack-contrib/terser-webpack-plugin

Unfortunately, my project is still on webpack v4 so I cannot use this until I update.
