Also they used languages with dynamic typing like Python & JS. In my experience a statically typed codebase is easier to maintain for humans so maybe it is also for agents.

When using Codex/Claude Code with Go code I cannot count the times the agent does some change, runs a build to check for errors, find some and fix them.

The best feature of Gon is that it is boring.

You cose something and if you don't use some weird 3rd party packages (Go stdlib is quite complete) you can check that code again in 3 years and will still work.

Writes are super fast in SQLite even if they are not concurrent.

If you were seeing errors due to concurrent writes you must adjust BUSY_TIMEOUT

I knew about this kind of papercraft from paperhammer, that is, using models like this in Warhammer tabletop. This makes that hobby accessible if you don't have too much money to spend.

If you are interested in this also search for poorhammer. These kind of things are refreshing in a world of hobbies that are more concerned with buying stuff instead of using that stuff in the hobby.
