Everyone who has not heard of her before thought that you are referring to something that happened now and not decades ago.

I was surprised and felt mislead.

I'm not sure what are you even arguing with me about. If it doesn't weaken your argument than it shouldn't matter to you that I've added factual context.

I'm not arguing for anything. I'm just adding context, because your comment read as if it happened during the 'current phase' of the conflict. That's a crucial detail to omit, imho.

This is not the first time this has happened.

Worth noting that Corrie was killed 23 years ago during a different phase of the conflict and under a previous government. (In which Netanyahu served as minister of finance.)

They have started trying it when the problem was much more difficult than it is now. I think a fridge that does this itinerary well is not too far away.

How is that absurd?

Of course with piracy you can have all the content available everywhere forever.

How do you expect a law-abiding company to match that with content they don't own? Unless we abolish copyright.

I miss these kinds of shows. BSG, StarGate, Star Treks, FireFly. I'm sad that they went out of fashion and the genre has moved on to other concepts.

Only Expanse and The Orville compares in the past decade I guess.

> There's a crypto token involved in paying for it.

It seems that the viewers pay with USDC, no? There's nothing inherently sketchy about that.

In plenty of big companies one month is not even enough time to get a new release into production, let alone test and fix the layouts.

> some of the bigger apps to switch to the Liquid Glass

Interestingly, Instagram decided to implement a custom liquid-glass like tab bar which surely now turns to be a PITA.

Finally! So we have a little over a month between getting the simulator and first customers running our apps in Duo.

I expect that most apps will look rather broken on release, but it will be smoothed out eventually.

Doesn't Tokyo have very low unemployment? According to Wikipedia: Japan 2.5%, Singapore 3.2%, USA 4.1%, EU 5.2%.

I expect Tokyo is probably even lower than the national average. Visiting just as a tourist it seems like Japan is quite good at creating, I don't want to say bullshit jobs, but perhaps not-that-necessary jobs? Jobs which mainly serve to give something to do to (usually) elderly. My understanding was that the idea is to make them feel to be a contributing part of the society(?)

I mean all the people controlling the pedestrians or acting like "human signs" and such.

Am I getting it wrong?
