<p>Though (at least to my knowledge) Zuckerberg doesn't have a history of abusing his authority to make deals that advantage other companies he owns at the expense of Facebook.<p>E.g. SpaceX buying up large numbers of Cybertrucks Tesla couldn't sell at MSRP, not even negotiating a good fleet sale deal.</p>

<p>This is something that could be demonstrated rather than just argued.<p>Train an LLM only on texts dated prior to Newton and see if it can create calculus, derrive the equations of motion, etc.<p>If you ask it about the nature of light and it directs you to do experiments with a prism I'd say we're really getting somewhere.</p>

<p>Ford has had a similar design (sharing patents with Toyota) since the first Escape Hybrid in '04. But they never stuck with a high mpg platform, they're using it to build 34mpg small trucks and SUVs, not 60mpg cars.</p>

<p>I feel like this should really be something people should lose their license over.<p>By deeming something <i>not medically necessary</i> they are (in my opinion) effectively practicing medicine. If they aren't qualified to practice that specialty, or aren't acting in the patients interest we should really be getting malpractice suits on them and stripping medical licenses.</p>
