I made clodhost for an easy to use and share web interface to Claude Code, running on its own vps… and then I realized it’d make it easy to implement an idea I’ve had for a long time… basically Wikipedia but the website CODE is produced peer-to-peer.

Anybody on the web can submit a prompt, and up/downvote other prompts, and every ten minutes the top one gets submitted to Claude!

Anyway, I think it works? Let me know if not and let’s see where this thing goes…

I actually use dozens of claude codes "in parallel" myself (most are sitting idle for a lot of the time though). I set up a web interface and then made it usable by others at clodhost.com if anybody wants to try it (free)!

I think the right solution is charge whatever would maximize revenue, then distribute the revenues evenly among all residents/voters/whomever.

AI has more knowledge than everyone already, I wouldn't say smarter though. It's like wisdom vs intelligence in D+D (and/or life).. wisdom is knowing things, intelligence is how quick you can learn / create new things.

I made the switch from Perl to php mostly because php executed a lot faster (without having to figure out any weird stuff like modperl) and I loved the little convenience functions just built-in like “strtoupper” and the date formatting stuff!

Also, I realized a side effect of a hypothetical world where everybody rode in robotaxis/waymos/even ubers is we’d effectively get congestion pricing everywhere (due to “surge” pricing), and the use of roads would actually fit into regular supply and demand market forces!
