<p>I agree. This is likely a result of central bank policies pushing rates down for so long. I bought recently because rates are so extremely low and the govt has committed to keeping them low for a long time. Rates went up very slowly after the Great Recession and this time will probably be the same. Add to that a growing population (here in Canada) and housing prices will probably keep going up a lot.</p>

<p>I agree with what you are saying but you can't compare jQuery and React - they are very different tools.<p>If something works for you and makes life easier then you should use it.  There is no right answer.  You just need to be honest with yourself when planning things out - am I using this technology because it's new and shiny or because it is the right tool for the job right now.</p>
