Google Search is pretty good at detecting this dual-content attacks. It's not this is the first time someone thought about that and it will heavily penalize websites that do that.

This is just the NotebookLM crawler that is being tricked, which is still in it's experimental stage. Rest assured as it scales Google can easily implement safeguards against all spammy tricks people use

Remember when the Russians mocked Elon Musk for his rocket purchase?

Remember when Steve Ballmer mocked the iPhone?

Remember when Zuck was mocked for the Metaverse?

I'm pretty sure Sam would have heard similar mockings like "You can't take on Google behemoth, podcaster bro" before.

But the sad part is, the newer tech generation is so brainwashed that it takes the side of the mocker instead of the mockee.

Watch Sam partner with some other fab like Intel and make TSMC irrelevant. Of course HN will then side with Sam

This reminds of all the anti-Tesla "Tesla is dead/bankrupt" in 2017/18 takes from mostly clueless people (Gary Marcus is a certified idiot) who don't know anything about scaling a business, TAM of Knowledge Industry ($30T and growing).

Again, it's easy to be a CTO for a startup. You just have to be at the right time. Your role is literally is, do all the stuff Researchers/Engineers have to deal with. Do you really think Mira set the technical agenda, architecture for OpenAI?

Open Source software works because it scales.

When you build an open source software or creative commons content, it is instantly available to billions.

Cooking, Building, and Healthcare doesn't.

Your free 4 hour per day service to others only scales to the one person that probably benefited from it and for a short period.

A 4 hour bug fix / feature add is benefitting thousands every day.
