At one point, it was encouraged that 9-year-olds get the vaccine.

As a parent, I'd rather my child wait until their immune system is more developed, with the idea being that if they're getting STDs at age 9, then there's a bigger problem.

We ask for something stupid like "3 years of Pascal experience." If the resume has it, it goes straight to the trash unless it has specific real-world Pascal experience.

This idea is adorable, but ultimately untenable if either country drifts in its views on how its citizens should behave.

I suspect that Canada isn't fond of how Americans view guns, and I suspect that the US is not quite on board with blasphemy/hurty-words laws. I suspect the divergence will grow.

When your AI slides, make a permanent test that catches that particular slide. Then have it run all the tests every time it does something significant.

We have as much test code as deployable code because the AI keeps finding ways to do what we told it to, but not what we meant.
